Biopolus is incredibly pleased to announce that the BioMakery at Koningshoeven won the 2019 Award for Circular Economy, Waterboards category, issued by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

We are especially excited to receive this award, because the BioMakery was created based upon the principle of water-based urban circularity, where energy, food, and waste systems are built around a regenerative and sustainable water cycle. Biopolus ultimately aims to create a network of BioMakeries, urban metabolic hubs, to integrate circular urban infrastructure and technology with open innovation, producing valuable end products from wastewater and organic waste.
