The Budapest Water Summit 2016 was one of the most important diplomatic events in Hungary in 2016. The aim of the three-day event was to promote the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets related to water and sanitation, as well as to achieve progress on the implementation of the water-related aspects of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Márton Kenyeres was invited as keynote speaker to the Innovation Day, which was dedicated to present trends and developments of water innovation. Also, Biopolus, as an exhibitor, contributed to the Sustainable Water Solutions Expo with its unique ideas.
